Peculiarities of light absorption in chirped one-dimensional photonic crystals

The features of light absorption and localization in one-dimensional chirped photonic crystals (PCs) are studied. It is shown that although chirping leads to the loss ideal periodicity, integral over a wide spectral region energy density practically does not change. We have violation periodic structure (chirping) can only decrease broad absorption, but also lead an increase this PC, depends on form modulation imaginary part dielectric permittivity. A study evolution spectra when contrast changed showed at certain values contrast, mini-zones transmission appear band gap, where significant observed.
